Date: Thursday, March 5, 2020 Date: Thursday, March 5, 2020 Time: 07:45 - 09:15 Location: Gusto, Bothwell Street, Glasgow

Become the public speaker you’ve always dreamed of being!

We kick off 2020 with presentation coach, award winning broadcaster and documentary director, Russell Walker of Russell Walker Training.

No matter what you do, the chances are you will have to make a presentation at some point in your career. So, great presentation skills are really important. The more composed you are at public speaking, the more likely you are to get a nice shiny promotion. But, talking to an audience, big or small, can feel like the most daunting thing you’ve ever had to do. The great news is that public speaking is a skill that can be taught. You can learn how to deliver memorable presentations that get you noticed.

At our March Breakfast Russell will cover:

  • How to find your authentic voice
  • How to control your nerves
  • How to influence an audience with great body language,
  • How to free yourself of limiting beliefs

Russell began his career at Radio Clyde before switching to television with Granada TV. He worked on the first series of “This Morning” with Richard and Judy as well as “You’ve Been Framed”. Since then he’s travelled the world making documentaries, including one at the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. He’s interviewed and worked with some iconic people, such as Margaret Thatcher, Tony Blair, Michael Caine, David Bowie, Sean Connery and Sir Alex Ferguson, He has directed many television and radio presenters in how to get the best out of their on air talent…and he’s about to do the same with you at the breakfast.

Join us on 5th March for some networking and to find out how you can improve your presentation skills.
