Many of you will know Paul Fletcher from his past appearances over the last eight years, so it’s great to have him back.

Paul, not only has long and established career working in innovation, he lives and breathes innovation with unquestionable passion and arguably he leads innovation practice in Scotland. We look forward to hearing what he’s been up to since he last spoke with stories from his world with the likes of:

  • Scottish Water
  • 3M
  • Edinburgh College
  • Open Innovation & Scottish Enterprise
  • Arup/HydroNation

At our May event Paul will reveal why Innovation is still in the wilderness”: looking at the need to embed open innovation in business, through collaboration and experimentation. We are all familiar with the term ‘collaborate to innovate’, however do we really understand what this means in practice and how do our businesses realistically go about embracing innovation in their psyche?

As ever there will be plenty of tips on how to take a systemic approach to innovation:

  • How to problem solve
  • How to breakdown internal silo’s
  • How to maximise opportunity

Co-creation with customers is evidently the way forward says Paul, and we must:

  • Experiment with every customer project
  • Encourage free reign within your team
  • Learn from failure to achieve success

Using his usual mix of customer case studies, knowledge and humour, Paul will add perspective and relevance to his presentation plus open up the floor for discussion.

Is innovation something that is or should be bubbling up within your business and if so does it need direction?…find out more and book now for:
